I'm Mel - Bookkeeper, Tax Agent, Business Advisor & Systems Specialist

As an experienced Taupo Bookkeeper, Tax Agent and business owner, I bring more than 25 years’ experience across bookkeeping, finance and business administration to the businesses I support.

I built Virtual Mel around one simple idea, business owners should have trusted support behind them so they don’t have to figure everything out on their own.

Today, that support goes well beyond admin. From bookkeeping, accounting and tax to business advisory, systems and automation, I work alongside business owners to help them understand their numbers, improve the way their business operates and free up more of their time.

Angela is an experienced Accountant and Bookkeeper who plays an important role behind the scenes at Virtual Mel, supporting our clients with bookkeeping, annual accounts and tax compliance.

With more than 17 years of accounting experience, Angela brings a wealth of knowledge, attention to detail and a calm, methodical approach to her work.

Accounting & Tax Expertise

Angela works closely with our clients’ financial information, helping ensure their accounts are accurate, organised and ready for end-of-financial-year reporting and tax returns.

Her accounting background adds another layer of expertise to the Virtual Mel team, allowing us to support clients beyond their day-to-day bookkeeping and provide continuity from regular bookkeeping through to EOFY accounts and tax compliance.

Angela has a genuine passion for helping businesses keep their finances in order and takes pride in getting the details right.

While much of her work happens quietly behind the scenes, her experience and expertise are an important part of the reliable financial support we provide our clients.

When she’s not crunching numbers, Angela enjoys spending time outdoors with family and friends and has also taken up waka ama.
